Another meeting of the Empirie Experience Exchange Network – City of Citizens is behind us
The next meeting of participants of the Empirie Experience Exchange Network – City of Citizens, which took place in Cieszyn on 19th and 20th of October, was devoted to good practices.
The two-day meeting became a platform for exchanging experiences in the field of participation and effective inclusion of residents in active participation in social life.
This time representatives of cities and communes benefiting from Norwegian funds talked about specific examples of good practices implemented in their communities.
The main organizer of the meeting – the Association of Polish Cities – once again took care of an exceptionally interesting program of the meeting, during which, among others, combined workshop for the Empirie Experience Exchange Network – City of Citizens and the Leaders Network on „City of Citizens: together we shape our cities” took place. Working in groups created by city and commune authorities together with employees of individual local government units allowed for a new perspective in approaching the problems discussed.
The congress program also included the meetings with the hosts of the place – representatives of the City of Cieszyn, who, in addition to discussing good practice „from their own backyard”, also showed the guests the most attractive points on the tourist map of Cieszyn.
