Family Cycling Rally or Riding a Bike through Zabrze

The cycling parade towards the Makoszowy slag heap was the route taken by the participants of the Family Cycling Rally organized by the Family Development Centre in Zabrze. The event was organized as part of the project “City as Space for Development” funded from the Norwegian Financial Mechanism for the years 2014-2021.

The event included, without limitation, a lecture on safety, first aid presentation and fitness tests. The last stop on the route of the rally was the City Botanical Garden. After the cyclists returned to the start point they were offered a treat and numerous contests in which the youngest and those a bit older cyclists could participate.
