„Crystal of Public Tenders” for the City of Zabrze!

The construction of brine graduation towers, which were recently built in our city, was honoured with the „Crystal of Public Tenders” award. Independent experts granted us this award for an efficiently completed tender procedure, which enabled the implementation of the investments so expected by the residents.

– Working for the benefit of the residents of Zabrze, we consistently improve the quality of the City Hall’s functioning, which is confirmed by the ISO certificates awarded to us. We want our city to become more and more resident-friendly. We are also pleased that BANIMEX sp. z o.o. received an award in this competition for the revitalization of the water tower at Zamoyskiego Street – comments the Mayor of Zabrze, Małgorzata Mańka-Szulik.

Two brine graduation towers were built in two districts of Zabrze. In Kończyce – on the area of the District Cultural Centre at Dorotki Str., and in Maciejów – in the area of Orlik Pitch at Kondratowicza Str. The facilities are open to all interested people, but they will certainly be used first by residents suffering from thyroid diseases, diseases of the upper and lower respiratory tract, and chronic rhinitis. The beneficial effect of brine in these types of health conditions is invaluable.

The graduation tower is a place where you can meet, relax, but also take care of your health by inhaling the healing brine. The wooden structure with blackthorn branches with brine flowing down it is also a response to the needs of a society that takes its health more and more seriously. The brine breaking into small drops creates a breeze that cools, increases humidity and reduces dust in the air around the graduation tower. Inhaling it for one hour provides the same dose of iodine as a few days spent at the seaside. The brine breeze moisturizes and stimulates the production of mucus in the upper respiratory tract. which thus gets rid of contaminants faster. The iodine contained in the breeze promotes, among others, proper functioning of the thyroid gland. Inhalations used in healthy people increase the body’s immunity.

It is worth recalling that the construction of both facilities was 85% financed by the Norwegian Financial Mechanism 2014-2021 – the „City as Space for Development ” project.
