The erection of brine graduation towers – almost finished!

In late April the erection works of the of the brine graduation tower situated on the premises of the District Cultural Centre in Kończyce, No. 3 Dorotki Street were commissioned. The official opening of the facility is expected next month.

The erection of the brine graduation tower in Kończyce and its design were funded in whole from the Norwegian Financial Mechanism 2021-2024 as part of the Local Development Program project entitled “City as Space for Development”. AQUARIUS ŚRODA & HOLISZ Sp. z o. o. [Ltd.] was selected the contractor of the task by a public tender in a form “design and build”. The gross cost of the investment amounted to PLN 615 457,81. It is worth mentioning that the brine graduation tower was finished before the contractual term.

The scope of the construction works included:
–erection of a hexagonal brine graduation tower
–delivery/assembly of underground brine tank(s)
–construction of complete brine system (automation, control room, pump);
–delivery/assembly of complete underground technological well;
– assembly of brush wood core with a hexagonal pan;
–landscaping (benches, bins, bicycle rack);
–assembly of a pole with a photovoltaic solar panel and battery (basic power supply of the brine graduation tower) – part of hybrid electrical system;
–installation of internal electrical system, including connection to the existing building (auxiliary functioning of the brine graduation tower);
– assembly of the illumination system with LED RGB_W sources of light (for colour therapy);
– assembly of proximity sensor integrated with the saline system;
– assembly of dusk sensor and sleep timer integrated with illumination system;
– erection of pedestrian access paths and internal transport
– installation of the rules.

Maciejów will be another place to offer the beneficial saline effect from the other brine graduation tower erected there and funded from the Norwegian Financial Mechanism 2021-2024.

70 per cent of the facility has been finished. The brine graduation tower currently built in Maciejów has similar equipment to the one in Kończyce. However, they differ in form. This one is erected as an octagon with a round pan. The Maciejów brine graduation tower will be light-colored, with lateral spans and a large pergola to be filled with climbing plants. The gross erection cost including documentation will be PLN 720720,37.
