Karol Okrasa cooked in Zabrze!
The project „The City as Space for Development”, funded from the grants of the Norwegian Financial Mechanism for the years 2014-2021 includes, without limitation, brine graduation towers in Kończyce and Maciejów and the Metallurgical Park upcoming revitalisation. This was the occasion to organise a picnic in the District Cultural Centre in Zabrze-Kończyce (3 Dorotki Street) with the guest star Karol Okrasa, the popular chef and television personality!
The stage in Kończyce offered a presentation of the brine graduation towers’ values, the services of a consultation spot on co-funding eco-investment projects (e.g. replacement of stoves or windows), anti-stress music, “Less means more” exhibition and a number of family competitions.

The project „The City as Space for Development”, funded from the grants of the Norwegian Financial Mechanism for the years 2014-2021 includes, without limitation, the construction two brine graduation towers, water playground in the Metallurgical Park and a skatepark.
The major targets of the project worth mentioning include, without limitation: the upgrading of life quality in the city through improved economic potential of the city and the quality of the city spaces, improved cohesion of the actions and growth of trust to the public institutions as well as the improvement of the institutional capacities of the city administration.
In addition to the tangible effects of the project performance, the intangible ones shall be noticeable, including, without limitation: intensification of the city development through developed specialisations of the city, consolidation of the inhabitants’ integration, increased ecological awareness of the population, increased attractiveness of the city space and simultaneously more initiatives concerning active pastimes in the “new” city space.
