„The Summer in Zabrze” educational-vocational day camp will start soon
As part of „The City as Space for Development” project funded out of the Norwegian Financial Mechanism for the years 2014-2021 the City of Zabrze organizes “The Summer in Zabrze” educational-professional day camp. The children participating in the day camp will play, go on sight-seeing tours around Zabrze and learn about the specific nature of various professions.
The day camp coordinated by the Family Development Centre is an example of an option that we do not have to be bored even when we stay in the city during the summer vacation. The children who will participate in it will certainly spend their time in an attractive and active way. The program will include without limitation tours to attractive places, becoming familiar with professions on site and in the conditions approximate to their daily performance and learning entrepreneurship.
The children participating in the day camp will earn money while becoming familiar with a selected profession. With the money earned they will be able to buy selected goods in the camp shop. They will also be able to save the money earned and buy a more valuable item from the camp shop at the end of the day camp term. They will also participate in sport and physical activities, games and integration entertainment as well as walks and outdoor activities.
The educational-vocational day camp for the children from Zabrze coordinated by the Family Development Centre will start on the 18th July. This is the date when the first term will start and go on until the 29th July. The second term will last from the 1st to the 12th August.
