A series of ecological workshops with young people
On the 23rd of November students of the prof. Zbigniew Religa 1st Secondary School in Zabrze visited the Zabrze City Hall, where they had the opportunity to participate in ecological workshops, learn about the city resistant to climate change and take part in a simulation of the City Council session. The meetings are held as part of the „City as Space for Development” project.
The City Council’s presidium, councillors and the management of the office were elected from among the students, who worked together to adopt resolutions on ecological issues. An introductory lecture entitled „Climate changes in the city” was delivered by a representative of the Silesian University of Technology – Bartłomiej Knosala, Ph.D. (project partner).
