A series of ecological workshops with young people was inaugurated

A series of ecological workshops with young people from Zabrze secondary schools has begun as part of the „City as Space for Development” project financed by Norwegian Funds.

Students of Wojciech Kilar Secondary School No. 2 visited the Zabrze City Hall on the 16th of November where they had the opportunity to learn about a city resistant to climate change and take part in a simulation of the City Council session.

The City Council’s presidium, councillors and the management of the office were elected from among the students, who worked together to adopt resolutions on ecological issues. The workshops were conducted by a representative of the Silesian University of Technology – Bartłomiej Knosala, Ph.D. (project partner) and employees of the Zabrze City Hall.

The next workshops in this series are scheduled for the 23rd of November this year.
