{"id":8634,"date":"2023-06-26T13:46:42","date_gmt":"2023-06-26T11:46:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/eng.zabrzeprzestrzeniarozwoju.pl\/?p=8634"},"modified":"2023-06-30T14:44:51","modified_gmt":"2023-06-30T12:44:51","slug":"the-brine-graduation-tower-in-maciejow-is-already-open","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/eng.zabrzeprzestrzeniarozwoju.pl\/?p=8634","title":{"rendered":"The brine graduation tower in Maciej\u00f3w is already open"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3>The ceremonial opening of the graduation tower in Maciej\u00f3w took place during the picnic entitled &#8222;Health Intensity&#8221;, which was organized on the Orlik pitch in Maciej\u00f3w at Kondratowicza Street.<\/h3>\n<h3><a href=\"https:\/\/eng.zabrzeprzestrzeniarozwoju.pl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/logo_zabrze_light_dark-e1678802362622.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-8442 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/eng.zabrzeprzestrzeniarozwoju.pl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/logo_zabrze_light_dark-e1678802362622.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"550\" height=\"165\" srcset=\"https:\/\/eng.zabrzeprzestrzeniarozwoju.pl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/logo_zabrze_light_dark-e1678802362622.png 550w, https:\/\/eng.zabrzeprzestrzeniarozwoju.pl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/logo_zabrze_light_dark-e1678802362622-300x90.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 550px) 100vw, 550px\" \/><\/a><\/h3>\n<p>As part of the event there were also, among others: ecological creative workshops for children and parents; circus workshops (ReCyrkling), concert of the Brass Band of the Coal Mining Museum in Zabrze, conducted by Henryk Mandrysz.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The graduation tower in Maciej\u00f3w is equipped with:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>bike racks,<\/li>\n<li>underground brine tank with brine mixing device,<\/li>\n<li>brine installation for brine distribution: automation and control room dosing brine and a pump with a float switch,<\/li>\n<li>underground technical well (technical chamber) with access,<\/li>\n<li>blackthorn column (blackthorn core),<\/li>\n<li>small architecture: benches and dustbins,<\/li>\n<li>lighting with RGB-W LED light sources (dynamic colour change based on colour therapy is assumed),<\/li>\n<li>a pole with a photovoltaic panel and a battery (basic power supply to the graduation tower) and an auxiliary power supply system (connection to the existing internal installation) &#8211; the whole in the form of a hybrid electrical installation,<\/li>\n<li>proximity sensor integrated with the brine installation &#8211; activating the installation when people are in the graduation tower area and immobilizing it in the absence of users and at night,<\/li>\n<li>twilight sensor and time switch integrated with the lighting system &#8211; activating the lighting system after dusk and turning it off outside the hours of use,<\/li>\n<li>a board with the regulations for using the graduation tower (a typical system board with a character and colour scheme referring to the graduation tower shed).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>The building contractor was AQUARIUS \u015aRODA &amp; HOLISZ Sp. z o. o.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The investment task was co-financed in 85% from the Norwegian Financial Mechanism 2014-2021 &#8211; the project &#8222;City as Space for Development&#8221; and in 15% from the state budget.<\/p>\n<p>The graduation tower is a place where you can meet, relax, but also take care of your health by inhaling the healing brine. The structure made of wood with blackthorn branches, on which brine flows, is also a response to the needs of a society that takes its health more and more seriously. The brine breaking into small drops creates a breeze that cools and increases humidity and reduces dust in the air around the graduation tower. Inhaling it for one hour provides the same dose of iodine as a few days at the seaside. The brine breeze moisturizes and stimulates the production of mucus in the upper respiratory tract, which helps to get rid of impurities faster. The iodine contained in the breeze promotes, among others, proper functioning of the thyroid gland. Inhalations used in healthy people increase the body&#8217;s immunity.<\/p>\n<p><strong>It is worth recalling that just a few days ago, on the 17<sup>th<\/sup> of June, the first brine graduation tower in our city &#8211; in Ko\u0144czyce &#8211; was opened.
