\u201eThe accessibility in public administration\u201d is an exceptionally important task at the time of immensely developing technologies. This was the topic of the entire cycle of workshops dedicated to the personnel of the City Office of Zabrze and to the city local government units.<\/strong><\/h3>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

The major target of the activities was to improve the knowledge and practical skills of the participants in the aspect of accessibility of the office to persons with disabilities. Definition of disability, the most frequent issues related to it, digital, informative, communicative and architectural accessibility as well as services provided to persons with disabilities \u2013 formed a part of the topics discussed during the workshops. Digitalization was not omitted either as it opens new opportunities for persons with disabilities to participate in social life. The remote communication with the use of multimedia technologies may level the mobility barriers and bring people closer, whatever their location is.<\/p>\n

The workshops have been made as part of the project \u201cCity as Space for Development\u201d funded from the \u201cLocal Development\u201d program, co-funded from the Norwegian Financial Mechanism 2014-2021 and the State Budget.<\/p>\n\n\t\t
