It is only a week until the start of the 12th International Tourist Fair.<\/strong> This exceptional event will take place on the 8th<\/sup> and 9th<\/sup> April in \u201ePogo\u0144\u201d Sports Hall in Zabrze.<\/strong> Croatia is the Fair partner this year and it will present its tourist and cultural offer. The visitors will be able to taste some Croatian specialties, watch artistic performances showing Croatian culture. The representatives of institutions and industrial heritage objects, museums as well as cities and regions, including without limitation from Poland, Czech Republic and Slovakia have already confirmed their participation in the fair. Just like every year, the visitors will be offered numerous attractions, workshops, shows and tasting events.<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Among the exhibitors who have already confirmed their participation in the twelfth edition of the International Tourist Fair in Zabrze, we can find, without limitation, the following: Orava Castle, Orava Forest Railway, Nov\u00fd Ji\u010d\u00edn, The Live Obwarzanek Museum from Cracow, Zinc Smelting Museum \u2013 The Rolling Mill in Katowice, The Gas Industry Museum in Paczk\u00f3w, The Military Technology Park in Zabrze, the Vintage Bicycles \u2013 Zabrze, the Maciej Shaft, The Silesian Uprisings Museum or Ignacy \u0141ukasiewicz Memorial Museum of Petroleum and Gas Industry in\u00a0B\u00f3brka.<\/p>\n

The 12th International Tourist Fair in Zabrze is accompanied by the 17th<\/sup> International Conference of Industrial Heritage Tourism (7th<\/sup> -8th<\/sup> April) organized by the City of Zabrze since 2004.<\/p>\n

The Conference will focus on the mission statement of the project performed as part of the Norwegian funds: \u201cZabrze \u2013 The City as Space for Development\u201d. The conference includes the analysis of the urban space with industrial structures, most of all the historical ones revitalized and adapted for public, commercial, cultural use (as art galleries, concert halls, theatres) and tourist attractions as they are, adapted for sight-seeing because of their historical, social and cultural values.<\/p>\n

The conference is organised as part of Norwegian Financial Mechanism 2014-2021 and is part of the project \u201cCity as Space for Development\u201d. The project worth
\nEUR 3 521 346,00 (85 per cent out of Norwegian grants, 15 per cent from the State budget), has been performed since the 1st<\/sup> January, 2022 until the 30th<\/sup> April, 2024.<\/p>\n
