\ud83c\uddec\ud83c\udde7 The city of Zabrze has completed the implementation of the project „City as a development space”. The project managed to implement the planned activities, which allowed achieving the planned indicators. All activities enjoyed great interest and involvement of residents.<\/strong><\/h4>\n

 <\/p>\n

The Project \u201eThe City as a Space for Development\u201d is funded from the \u201cLocal Development\u201d Program co-funded from the grants of the Norwegian Financial Mechanism for the years 2014\u20132021 and the State Budget.
\nIt is performed in partnership with the Silesian University of Technology and the University of Technology in Katowice with collaboration by the consultants from the Union of Polish Cities.<\/p>\n

The project performance term is from the 3rd January, 2022 to the 30th<\/sup> April, 2024<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The maximum qualifiable total costs covered by the project amount to
\nPLN 16\u00a0683\u00a0781,37<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Co-funding: EUR 3 371 346,00<\/strong>.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][\/vc_row_inner][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1\/1″][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n

Norway Grants<\/span><\/span> and EEA Grants and The \u201dLocal Development\u201d program<\/h2>\n

<\/i><\/div>[vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1\/3″][vc_single_image image=”7694″ img_size=”full” el_class=”theme_light”][vc_single_image image=”8212″ img_size=”full” el_class=”theme_dark”][\/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”2\/3″][vc_column_text]The EEA Financial Mechanism and the Norwegian Financial Mechanism, i.e. the co-called Norwegian and EEA Grants form a non-returnable financial aid granted by Iceland, Norway and Liechtenstein to more than a dozen of Central and Southern European and the Baltic states.<\/p>\n

The grants are correlated to Poland\u2019s accession to the European Union and its simultaneous accession to the European Economic Area (formed by the EU countries and Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway). In exchange for the financial assistance granted, the donor states benefit from the access to the EU internal market in spite of not being the EU member states.<\/p>\n
